FINAL STANDINGS

GM Antoaneta Stefanova from Bulgaria (photo left) is the winner of the Rhodes Summer Cup after a 3-way tiebreak with GMs Grzegorz Nasuta from Poland and Vasilis Kotronias from Greece.

Players from 16 different countries battled for the €10,000 prize fund of the WCF Open Summer Cup.

This year's participants included famous players such as GM Antoaneta Stefanova (Bulgaria, Women's World Champion 2004-2006), GM Vasilis Kotronias (Greece), GM Grzegorz Nasuta (Poland), GM Luka Budisavljevic (Serbia) and many more.

Why Rhodes for summer?

This event is a great opportunity to combine 5-star summer holidays on the coast of a famous Greek island together with an International Open Tournament giving 10,000 euros in prizes for all categories: general standings, women and juniors!



The island of Rhodes is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe and it has several nicknames, such as "Island of the Sun", "Pearl Island" and "Island of the Knights", named after the Knights of Saint John of Jerusalem, who ruled the island from 1310 to 1522.
